This article is of interest to young teachers involved in the development of tasks for
summative assessment for a quarter of 9th grade students in the algebra course. In this regard, it is important
to effectively apply the updated educational program for students, including criteria assessment. Teachers acquiring the skill according to the updated program, the transition of distance learning brought some
difficulties, but thanks to effective searches, they were able to master all the methods. In this case, the exchange
of teachers' experience played a big role. We think that the article will also help young mathematicians to
develop a summative assessment for the fourth quarter in algebra for ninth grade students.
For many years, the concept of pricing and valuation has been used equally in the country. Under his
influence, the student began to pay more attention to what he received for the grade, and the parents - to what
grade he received, and not to what his child learned. Students who say, "I have a grade, I won't say lessons
today" and "you don't have a grade, you have to say a lesson!" substitute teachers have increased. Hence, it is
not education that has become widespread, but reading for a price.
A lot of work has been done to solve this problem. As a result of the work carried out by the
autonomous educational organization "Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools", an updated system for assessing
students' academic achievements has been developed. For the first time, the system of criteria assessment
applied in Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools has been gradually introduced in all schools of the country.
Initially, it was not easy for both teachers and students to get used to the criterion assessment system
at once. But over time, I became convinced that this is an effective system.
