This article analyzes the manifestations of text theory presented in the syntactic section of Akhmet Baitursynuly's book «Til Kural». It is known that text theory as a branch of linguistics began to emerge in the 1950s. Although Akhmet Baitursynuly's book «Til Kural» was written in the early 20th century, an analysis of the linguistic features of the text in it opens the way to recognizing the manifestations of a hitherto unclear linguistic phenomenon between sentence syntax and text grammar. It is important to analyze the specific logical connections in the text-forming function of sentences as linguistic rules that play a significant role in the formation of not only a specific text but also texts in general, using specific linguistic models as examples. Therefore, the text-forming connections in Akhmet Baitursynuly's works should be thoroughly analyzed and their characteristics identified. In examining this issue, drawing on the results of developments in modern linguistics and analysis from new perspectives, it should be shown that Akhmet Baitursynuly laid the foundations of text theory in his work. It is important to observe the function of sentences in the formation of a complex syntactic whole and their gradual transformation into components that form the text, as well as to determine their «trace» in the formation of a coherent thought.
