This article provides a comprehensive review of the main stages of mobile application development, as well as the theoretical and practical aspects of their implementation. The study covers the complete life cycle of mobile app development, including idea formation, analysis of the target audience and market, identification of functional and technical requirements, UI/UX design, system architecture development, programming, testing, publication of the application on the App Store and Google Play platforms, as well as subsequent support and updates. The significance of each stage, their interconnection, and the main challenges faced by developers are systematically analyzed. In addition, the article highlights the role of research methods such as theoretical analysis, documentation review, empirical data collection, and the case study method in ensuring high-quality mobile application development. As a practical example, the experience of developing a mobile application for a digital library is examined, including UML diagrams, database structure, and the effectiveness of using technologies such as Python and Django. The research results demonstrate that a well-structured and stage-by-stage development process plays a decisive role in ensuring application quality and meeting user needs. The conclusions of the article can be used as a methodological basis for students, novice developers, and practitioners, and also form a theoretical foundation for further research aimed at functional expansion and the introduction of innovative technologies.
