The preschool age is a time of rapid development of children's thinking, imagination, and creativity. The creative development of children is reflected in their play activities, language abilities, independence of expression, and flexibility in solving various situations. The development of creative abilities in preschool age creates the foundation for further successful learning and comprehensive personal development. Today, children's creative development is crucial because it lays the foundation for critical thinking, innovative problem-solving, and effective social interaction in the future. Therefore, the development of creative abilities of preschoolers is considered one of the priorities and strategically significant tasks of the modern education system.

This review article synthesizes contemporary studies on effective pedagogical strategies for fostering preschool children's creative abilities. Special attention is paid to the role of drama and role-playing in supporting the cognitive, socio-emotional, communicative, and creative development of children. The purpose of the study is to identify and theoretically substantiate the role of dramatic activity in the creative development of preschoolers. The analysis of scientific papers enables the determination of the impact of dramatization on the cognitive, socio-emotional, and communicative development of children, and also reveals its pedagogical possibilities in the educational practice of preschool organizations
