This paper addresses the
issues of optimizing the system of registration of legal entities in Kazakhstan. In addition, the main provisions of national legislation on the issue under study, in particular, civil and business legislation, are considered. In particular,
the paper deals with the registration of legal entities of both commercial and non-commercial nature. At the same time,
the relationship between the development of national legislation and the provisions in this area of the legislation of
Kazakhstan in the Soviet period is established. In addition, the author highlights the features of determining the
registration authority, as well as the features of the current legislation in the development of the legal mechanism for
registration and reorganization of a legal entity. It is necessary to establish in civil legislation the principle of reliability
of the register of legal entities, according to which the information entered in it, in relation to the founders, bodies of the
legal entity must be true. This will protect the interests of the legal entity and participants in civil turnover.
