This article discusses the theme of "loneliness" in Kazakh literature, studying the representatives of
three eras. While the theme of “loneliness” in the verses of Actamberdy is analyzed in a psychological and social sense,
the expression of this idea in the works of Abay in the 19th century developed on a philosophical basis. Comparing this
issue in the works of Aktamberdy and Abay, we tried to prove the situation in the literature of the twentieth century
through the poetry of B. Kuleev. Although Aktamberdi’s loneliness is full of grief, sorrow, he has a spirit and honor.
The victory of his loneliness is associated with his courage. Loneliness in the work of Abay is directly related to the
ignorance of the society of that time. Berniyaz describes how he was struck by life stress, unable to find a place in life,
deprived of his close relatives and society. Seeing the problem of “loneliness” of each era, which expressed their nature
and feelings in their poems, the situation weakened their tender hearts - social contradictions, laws of life, sorrows
preceded their society and therefore did not fit into their midst. We think this is not appreciated in due time.
