The article examines the hybridization of borrowed units in contemporary Kazakh communicative space from structural-word-formation, morphological, graphic, and sociolinguistic perspectives. The study aims to identify the main patterns through which foreign-language components interact with the lexical, derivational, and grammatical system of Kazakh. The material includes language units from information technology, advertising, food service, retail and service sectors, as well as commercial names. Structural and word-formation analysis, componential analysis, contextual analysis, comparison, graphic analysis, and a sociolinguistic survey were used. The analysis identifies several productive models: morphological adaptation of a borrowed stem to Kazakh grammatical morphology; combination of a borrowed stem with Kazakh derivational affixes; analytical constructions combining borrowed and native components; and graphic hybridization involving different writing systems. Kazakh names written in Latin script are treated as graphic transformations rather than lexical borrowings. A pilot survey of 60 respondents aged 19–58 suggests that the linguistic and graphic form of a name may influence initial perception, memorability, and image evaluation. The findings support an interpretation of hybridization not merely as an increase in borrowed vocabulary, but as one manifestation of the adaptation of Kazakh to new communicative conditions.
