Мақалада әлеуметтік саясат және мемлекеттің әлеуметтік саясаты қарастырылады. Бұл қоғамның әлеуметтік-экономикалық жағдайларын реттеудің негізгі бағыттарының бірі болып табылады. Әлеуметтік саясат елдегі жалпы экономикалық жағдаймен тығыз байланысты және екі жақты қызмет атқарады. Әлеуметтік саясат пен әлеуметтік қорғау жүйесі әлеуметтік даму тетігінде ерекше орын алады. Экономикалық дағдарыс, жұмыссыздық пен кедейлік орын алған өтпелі кезеңде мемлекеттің халықты жаппай қаржылай қолдау мүмкіндігі төмендейді.
