This article examines the personality of Uzbekali Zhanibekov through the lens of the «honest citizen» phenomenon and analyzes his role in the revival of national memory and youth education. The study applies historical-comparative methods, content analysis, social interpretation, and a systemic approach. Zhanibekov’s public activity is considered as a comprehensive process aimed at preserving and developing national culture, restoring historical justice, and reviving spiritual values. In addition, the article provides information about Zhanibekov’s childhood. The research materials include his scholarly works as well as studies and articles dedicated to his life and activities. The author analyzes key historical initiatives carried out under his leadership, such as the revival of the Nauryz holiday, restoration of historical monuments, development of museum institutions, and the return of the sacred Taikazan to its homeland. Furthermore, the article explores Zhanibekov’s views on youth education and his role in shaping national identity and civic responsibility. The research findings demonstrate that Zhanibekov’s personality represents a model of preserving national values, serving society, and fostering patriotism among young people. In the context of globalization, his legacy remains an important factor in maintaining national identity and ensuring cultural security.
