The article discusses some ethnographic concepts (sketches) about the historical character and aspects of the medieval historical and literary monument «Babyrnama», which is the common heritage of the peoples of Central Asia and Kazakhstan of the XV-XVI centuries. The work describes the lifestyle, professions of our ancestors of that era and the countries in which they ruled, and even the moral (spiritual and cultural) alphabet and legality of that time. Emphasizing that the semantic features of ethnographic sketches, which served as the basis for the article, are one of the factors contributing to the history of the emergence, development and formation of Kazakh customs, traditions and supporting them with scientific and information resources, the opinion of research scientists. This in itself testifies to the continuing relevance of studying this work. The author examines some aspects of ethnographic sketches preserved in «Babyrnama» and developed over the centuries for nomadic Turkic peoples, with the Kazakh spiritual and cultural world and their other reflection and cognitive approach to the model. Recently, the field of ethnopediatrics has appeared in science about the role and place of upbringing boys in both modern and past societies, and it is relevant to study it in combination with various other fields of science.
