The aim of the research in this article is the theoretical justification of the formation of research culture of informatics students and methodological features of creating a system of research tasksIt requires the use of modern information technologies that provide access to specialized databases and sources of information on the topic of research.

Research methods - analysis of scientific articles, empirical methods, project method, methodology of creating a system of research tasks. Project method and activity-based method of teaching are the best solutions to the problems of introducing students to science. Early involvement of students in research activities allows to fully identify and develop their intellectual and creative abilities. These activities can be effective not only in high school, but also in elementary school.

As a result of the study, the leading trends in the formation of students' research culture were identified, the optimal pedagogical conditions of effective formation of students' research culture at computer science lessons were determined, and the formation of students' research culture at computer science lessons was substantiated.
