The article is devoted to the study of the stability of oilandgastransportationsystemsusing the Mikhailovcriterion.In the conditions of the modernenergymarket, which ensures the safetyandefficiency of hydrocarbontransportation, the stability of systemsplays a keyrole.Stabilityanalysisis an importantpart of the designandoperation of pipelineandpumpingstations,pressurecontrolsystems, andotherinfrastructureelements. The Mikhailovcriterion,basedon the theory of lineardynamicalsystems,provides a powerfultoolforassessing the stability of suchsystems,allowing them to identifypotentialrisksandensurereliableoperation.Thearticlediscusses the theoreticalfoundations of the criterion,itsapplicationto the analysis of transferfunctionsinoilandgastransportationsystems,aswell as itsroleinpreventingaccidentsandimproving operational efficiency. The application of thiscriterionin the context of oilandgastransportationhelps to identifypotentialthreatsat the earlystages of operation,whichallowstimelymeasures to be taken topreventemergenciesandimprove the efficiencyofpipelinesystems. As aresult of the study, it is possible to optimize the systemparametersandincreaseitsresistancetopossibledeviationsandexternaldisturbances.Examples of practicalapplication of the methodforassessingstabilityinreal-world operatingconditions are described,aswellaschallengesandprospects for furtherresearchinthisarea. The article is aimedatdevelopingsustainabilityassessmentmethodsthatcontribute to improving the reliabilityandsafety of hydrocarbontransportation.
