The topic of the study in the article is the development of practical skills in biology classes that contribute to the further formation of regulatory skills in students.
The formation of the regulatory skills of schoolchildren, based on the universal ability to work with information (find, select, analyze information, evaluate its reliability, etc.) is one of the most urgent tasks of modern education.
The relevance lies in the students' critical thinking skills used in laboratory biology classes. Their ability to analyze information from a position of logic, the ability to make informed judgments, decisions and apply the results, both in standard situations and in non-standard situations, significantly contributes to the successful self-realization of a person.
