The article discusses the methods of using information technology in biology classes. The use of information technology in biology classes makes it possible to demonstrate a variety of materials, effective testing based on knowledge, the organization of work and multimedia models to form a complete picture of the biological process in the minds of students. This article notes, the need to be able to correctly use computer and telecommunication tools and that they can have a huge amount of visual information that is of interest to students in the subject. The use of information technology in laboratory classes makes it possible to show micropreparations on the screen and introduces the structure of the tissue. The article provides examples of the use of multimedia presentations in biology classes, which will make it possible to present educational material as a reference scheme and store information in students' associative memory.
