The article considers a method of controlling technogenic waste in the metallurgical industry using
briquetting. The flow chart of the production line and the structure of briquettes development and production are
described. Below are current solutions on how to effectively dispose of man-made metallurgical waste, i.e. dust and
other dispersed compounds, and get rid of them. The main attention is paid to the production of products for remelting
metallurgical waste by cheap and easy pressing of various types of dust, briquetting. Various industrial wastes are used
for briquetting, for example: coke residue, cast iron or steel shavings, etc. Thanks to briquetting, you can get rid of the
environmentally friendly residue. Many institutions, such as the EC ZEWA project and IPCO, have conducted research
on the effectiveness of briquetting plants. The study showed its cheapness and environmental effectiveness. But despite
the fact that this method is environmentally effective, until now, no perfectly effective way to use waste has been found.
