In this paper, the authors describe modern methods, means and forms of conducting an exam in English in a
distance learning environment, disclose the main stages of conducting such an exam orally, list the features of its
conduct in writing, and also indicate some specific efforts necessary to conduct this exam. in the form of testing. At the
end of the work, a conclusion is made about the strengths and weaknesses of this exam.
