This article explores relevant issues of domestic history through analysis of the main points of the famous article of the First President N.A. Nazarbayev entitled "The Seven Faces of the Great Steppe" (2018). An analysis of the seven faces of the past of Kazakhstan reveals the main events of our history that have left their mark on world history. The value of nomad culture, metallurgy of ancient Kazakhstan, the Scythian animal style, the uniqueness of the “golden man”, the importance of Altai as the cradle of the Turkic world, the cultural value of the Great Silk Road, and others are shown. In general, it was noted that these facets of the Great Steppe make up the history of the Kazakhs and its
cultural code.
