The article examines the artistic representation of womanhood, the fate of the mother, and human psychology in the prose works of the well-known journalist and writer Gulzeynep Sadyrkyzy included in the collection The Woman’s Soul. The research focuses on the writer’s works that received prizes in literary competitions, with particular attention paid to their thematic, ideological, and artistic features. Within the context of the continuity of traditions in the representation of the woman-mother in Kazakh literature, the works by Gulzeynep Sadyrkyzy included in the collections Aibibi and The Woman’s Soul are considered as an artistic phenomenon that enriches the gallery of female characters in contemporary Kazakh prose. The study analyzes the plot and compositional structure of the works, the system of characters, and the techniques of psychologism, identifying the writer’s artistic approaches to depicting the inner world of her characters, their spiritual experiences, psychological states, and moral choices. The transformation of factual life experience into artistic reality is examined through the artistic generalization of concrete life material and individual human destinies, with particular attention to their connection with social, moral, and ethical issues. It is concluded that the life paths, hardships, and spiritual quests of the female protagonists in the writer’s stories, as well as those of the characters in the memoir essay Sheragha’s Red Chapan, not only reveal distinctive aspects of womanhood but also reflect the social and moral realities of a particular social environment. The article provides a scholarly analysis of the author’s artistic approach to creating female characters, the specific features of her use of psychologism, and her mastery in portraying the destinies of characters within a socio-spiritual context.
