WEB SERVICE FOR AUTOMATED GENERATION OF PDF DOCUMENTS

This research is devoted to a web service designed for the automated preparation of certificates of merit, diplomas, and letters of appreciation in educational institutions. The main objective is to enable teachers to generate a large number of documents quickly, accurately, and without errors. The service provides an intuitive interface, advanced customization options, multilingual support, and a function for batch PDF document generation based on Excel files.

The significant results of the study are reflected in several dimensions. First, from a technological perspective, the solution implemented in PHP and based on the TCPDF library has demonstrated the efficiency of automated document generation. The interface developed using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript offers a user-friendly experience, while JSON files ensure localization. Second, from a pedagogical perspective, the service helps save teachers’ time, reduce errors in document preparation, and facilitate formal recognition of students’ achievements. Third, from a social perspective, it supports digital transformation in educational institutions and establishes a new level of document management.

The theoretical significance lies in substantiating the effectiveness of applying digital technologies in education and proposing new approaches to enhancing pedagogical motivation. The practical significance consists in automating the document preparation process as a real tool for teachers, saving time, and improving quality. Moreover, the service can be adapted for use in other domains as well (certificates, invitation cards, official letters).
