This scientific article analyzes, from a humanitarian perspective, the impact of globalization, digitalization, and media culture on the process of youth cultural and political socialization in the 21st century. Theoretical foundations of socialization are examined based on classical and contemporary sociological and philosophical works. The author describes youth cultural and political socialization as a multifaceted phenomenon shaped by the interaction between the education system, media space, and social environment.
The article highlights the influence of higher and secondary educational institutions on the spiritual, cultural, and civic development of young people and substantiates the importance of humanitarian disciplines (philosophy, cultural studies, political science, ethics) in the process of socialization. Furthermore, while digital media has become a new platform for socialization, it also poses risks in terms of cultural identity and information security. The study concludes that youth cultural and political socialization is not only a process of adaptation to society but also a means of self-understanding, spiritual development, and the formation of civic responsibility.
The article proposes strengthening the content of humanitarian education, enhancing student civic engagement, developing media literacy, and fostering cooperation between educational and cultural institutions. These measures contribute to preserving national and civic identity and ensuring the cultural stability of society.
