The article deals credit risk management by second-tier banks. The credit policy of the second-tier
bank was evaluated, the structure and dynamics of loans issued were also assessed, the quality of the ship portfolio and
the security of loans were studied, the dynamics of repayment of loans issued, monitoring of overdue loans requiring
constant attention, recommendations were developed for managing credit risk in second-tier banks.
