This paper gives an analysis of the world practice of digital transformation of industry. Despite the
digital divide, countries are taking active measures to develop the digital economy. Countries are incorporating the best
initiatives of the world's leading nations into their digital economy programmes.
The initiation of the digital agenda in industrial sectors is possible through such initiatives around the world, in the
European Union, multinational companies.
Digital programmes for the advancement of Internet economy adopted in Estonia, European Union, Singapore,
Germany, USA, China, Holland, Sweden, Ireland, Japan, the Philippines, Brazil, UK, Malaysia.
The article considers the practices of industrial advancement and approaches to digital transformation in the
member states of the Eurasian Economic Union: Russia, Armenia, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Kazakhstan. It
presents the strategic state programmes adopted by these states as part of the advancement of the digital economy.
By analysing of world practice in digital industrial transformation of the main ideologies of the concepts of Digital
Manufacturing, Indusry 4.0, Open Manufacturing, and Smart Manufacturing are developed.
The study of practices in digital industrial transformation has made it possible to isolate the main technological
trends built on the concepts described above.
